Our Story: A Family-Run Care Provider with Heart
Manna Care is a small, family-owned care provider founded by Jean & Shane Carroll. Their personal experience as parents — having a son with Down’s Syndrome — has shaped everything we do. Our mission is to create homes where adults with learning disabilities and autism can thrive through:

We opened our first residential care home, Manna House, in the Bootle area of Liverpool. Since then, we have grown while staying true to our values — always putting the needs and happiness of our service users first.

We employ 39 dedicated staff members who are carefully selected and extensively trained in autism support and learning disabilities care. We maintain an excellent skill mix on every shift to ensure the highest quality of care at all times.
