Autism Care and Support from Manna Care
Residential Care Providers in Merseyside, Sefton and Wirral, Liverpool
Care in Safe Hands fully understands that the autism spectrum can make everyday life a challenge for the sufferer and their family. This is why we manage a residential care home in Merseyside for those who require support.
We are a small company who put our service users at the heart of everything we do. The company is owned by Jean & Shane Carroll who have a large family, one of their sons has Downs Syndrome and he has always been at the forefront of their minds in all that they wanted to achieve. Their vision and aim was to set up and run care facilities for adults with Learning Disabilities, where the promotion and development of life skills, social inclusion, contentment and security, lead to a fulfilled and happy life for each individual. These aims have been achieved and remain our company focus.
Initially, Manna Care, set up their first house in the Bootle area of Liverpool to help people in need of residential care. This was named ‘Manna House’. From there we have developed and expanded which has enabled us to make lives of other service users as fulfilled as possible.
And as such, we are able to provide Autism support and care for adults and their families in the Sefton and Wirral areas.
In order to set objectives we need tools to enable us to achieve these, this is why we ensure that our team of 39 staff are highly trained and that there is always a good skill mix of staff on duty. We value each and every staff member and we pride ourselves in achieving the Gold Standard from Investors in People in December 2014.
Along with this, we have achieved and maintained a Level 5 ‘Scores on the doors’ rating with the Environmental Health & Food Standards Agency for the 3rd year running.
